Our Mission
Our goal is to provide an unforgettable experience for travelers that seek to have a unique adventure, connect with nature, and with each culture that we visit. Voyaging by boat frees us to seamlessly drift between uninhabited islands and idyllic villages, with no need to arrange any further transportation than your floating home for the week. Our boats are large enough for you take space when you need it, and small enough to create a feeling of community with your fellow crew. We provide the environment for you to unplug, watch shooting stars, jump off the boat and see a sea turtle in its natural environment, meet a local bartender at a bar you can only reach by boat, and see colors of the ocean that you have never seen before. Truly the experience of a voyage by boat cannot be captured with words alone, and we look forward to having you aboard so that you can experience it all first hand!
Who we are
Captain Ferd
Ferd's passion for sailing began as a child, when his dad would take their family down from the Mississippi Delta to Florida any chance he could get, to spend time on his sailboat. Ferd eventually took the helm of "Fiddler's Green"and began to sail solo and with friends, all around the Gulf of Mexico and up the Eastern Coast of the US. He has sailed all through the Caribbean for work and for pleasure, up and down several North American rivers, and currently lives on his sailboat in New Orleans, LA.
A sailmaker, boat mechanic, and touring musician, Ferd is the jack of all trades in Stardust Sails. He can make a mean jambalaya to boot, and is always down for a good boat hang, sometimes with his fiddle.

Captain Sarah
Sarah found her love of sailing as an adult, when she joined the crew of a week long sailing trip in the BVI as a yoga instructor. From that life changing experience 10 years ago, she began to build her dream of curating her own sailing voyages around the world for herself and all other adventurous spirits!
She bought a Catalina 30 during the pandemic and sailed many sunsets on Lake Ponchartrain before mosey-ing down from Louisiana to Southwest Florida for 5 months. She has also sailed throughout the Caribbean, as well as the Mediterranean, off of the coast of Scotland, and right up the river from Mobile to Knoxville.
As a career long service industry worker, Sarah thrives on creating environments where people feel welcomed. More comfortable behind the bar than a guest at the party, Stardust Sails is the perfect fusion of her passions.

An incredibly beautiful and less visited part of the Bahamas out islands, the Abacos are full of marine preserves excellent for swimming and snorkeling, uninhabited islands, and small settlements rich in history and charm.
Spend the week with us stargazing, paddleboarding, fishing, snorkeling, and whatever ways you love to experience wild nature!
